Gerhard & Sons grew out of a simple conviction: residential construction deserves the same care and skill as any other trade. Founded in Northwest Michigan, the business has been built project by project — foundations poured right, roofs installed properly, finish work done like it matters. Because it does.

We're a hands-on operation. The people you talk to about the job are the people doing the work. There are no layers of subcontractors, no crew swaps mid-project, no passing the buck when something needs to be resolved. Just tradespeople who take ownership from the first conversation to the last punch item.

We work exclusively with homeowners across five counties in Northwest Michigan. That focus isn't an accident — it's a choice. Residential work demands a different kind of attention, a different level of communication, and a genuine investment in how the finished space will be lived in. That's the work we want to do.
